Day 7 of Tabletop Turnabouts

The page from Tabletop Turnabouts
for today features my little quilt
Acorn Lane

Right now I think we're all very
appreciative of Spring with it's
warmer weather after the harsh winter.

Normally, however, Fall is my favorite
time of the year.  Squirrels scurry to
bury acorns to savor during
the long winter months.
Pumpkins, crisp days and nights and
beautiful leaves are just a few of
the pleasures to be enjoyed each Fall.

The winner of the fabric scrap bag and
magnetic pincushion from Down by the Sea
is Susie H. who is a Pisces girl with a special
affection for whales.

Susie, please email your snail mail address to Tammie
 at janpatekquiltsinc@gmail.com
and she will mail you your fabric and pincushion.

Now for this week, make a comment and this time
the random number generator will pick someone to win
be a mixed scrap bag (all pieces at least 2" wide) of
Sweet Violet and Lilac Ridge and a
package of Freezer Paper
Fabric and something to help make your pattern.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see the next page
of Tabletop Turnabouts by Jan Patek & Martingale.

Keep quilting ladies.  :)

Ladies from Tennessee & Day 6 from Tabletop Turnabouts

Yesterday we had a visit
from a very nice group of ladies,
mostly from Tennessee with one or two
from Georgia and I think there was 1 from Ohio.

I believe their common bond was originally
doing a Sew Along with my book Homespun Hearth.
They called a couple of months ago to
see if they could come by.
We spent 2 or 3 enjoyable hours
chatting and sewing and shopping.
Altogether a great group of ladies.
Thanks again for coming.  :)

The page from Tabletop Turnabouts
for today features my little quilt
Down by the Sea.

I just love whales - they are such awesome creatures
and we all need to work together to make sure
they are around for future generations to see.

We have a winner from 2 weeks ago
of the scrap bag and Clover thimble.  It is Sheila S
who said "Oh my Gosh - Happy little quilts,
They make me feel happy inside.".

Sheila, please email Tammie your snail
mail address and she will mail you
your fabric and thimble.

Now for this week, make a comment and this time
the prize will be a mixed scrap bag
(all pieces at least 2" wide) of
Sweet Violet and Lilac Ridge
and a magnetic pincushion.
Fabric and something to help sew it with.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see the next page

Day 5 - Tabletop Turnabouts - To Market, To Market

The little chocolate bunny is hitching
a ride on the wagon pulled
by the baby chick.

on the way to fill the Easter Baskets.

I really hope some larger rabbits
and chickens come along to help.
These 2 will get tired out
long before they get to Market.

We have a winner of the scrap bag
and marking pencil.  It is Peggy
who ended her comment with
"What a fun block".

Peggy, please email Tammie your snail mail
address and she will mail you your fabric and
marking pencil.  Be sure to tell her if you want
white lead or pencil lead.

Now for this week, make a comment and this time
the prize will be a mixed scrap bag
(all pieces at least 2" wide) of
Sweet Violet and Lilac Ridge
and a Clover thimble.
Fabric and something to sew it with.

Day 4 of Tabletop Turnabouts by Jan Patek & Martingale

Bunny Hop

Front

And back.

We think the bunny is riding his
trusty steed to
check out his garden.

So far the perennials are up and
he's ready to plant his veggies.  :)

Bunnies have to eat you know and
people frown when they eat the flowers.

The winner of last week's prize is
Amy who volunteers in a 6th grade class.
Amy, please send your snail mail address
to Tammy at janpatekquiltsinc@gmail.com
and she'll mail you your prize.

Now Make a comment and this time
the prize will be a mixed scrap bag
(all pieces at least 2" wide) of
Sweet Violet and Lilac Ridge
and a marking pencil.
Fabric and something to mark it with.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see the next page

Happy Quilting.

Day #3 of Tabletop Turnabouts

Sweet Lady Liberty

 Front

and back.

As most of you know by now,
I'm partial to Americana.

- - Love the big stars Martingale used.
I'm also pretty partial to stars.. :)

And we have a winner from last week's post.
It was Susie H. who said
Fresh colors for a fresh start + SPRING.💗

Susie, if you will email your snail mail information
to Tammie at janpatekquiltsinc@gmail.com
she'll send you your mini charm and needles.

That was so much fun, I think we'll do it
for every Tabletop Turnabouts post.
Make a comment and this time
(and maybe from now on)
the prize will be a scrap bag of
Sweet Violet or Lilac Ridge
and a marking pencil or needles or a thimble.
You get the idea - fabric and something to sew it with.

Have a very good Easter with family & friends.
See you Monday &
Keep quilting ladies.

Day #2 of Table Turnabouts

Sneak peek of the pages from the Garden House quilt.

Martingale does such an awesome job
with the photography and patterns.

I'd love to have a fence that color :)

The fabric is my "Garden House" line and it
really goes well with their fence, doesn't it.
I knew that, of course, when I designed
the line.  ----- Not :)

After I've posted all ten different little  quilts,
we'll have a drawing for a free signed book.
Meantime lets have some smaller give-aways.
Make a comment, any old comment and
I'll have the Random Number Generator
pick one to send a free Garden House Mini Charm
and a package of Milliner needles.

Good luck and see you tomorrow
for another sneak peek at the book.

And
As Always
Keep Quilting!

Tabletop Turnabouts (a new Martingale book) & Lets get ready for Memorial Day

It seems really strange not
to be posting a Moda Blockhead -
I've been doing that on Wednesday
for the last 2 years.

Instead, for the next 10 weekdays
I'm going to post a page from my
new book Tabletop Turnabouts,
published in their usual excellent
manner by Martingale.

The little quilts 12" x 25" are made
to hang over a table stand - or anything
else you have handy to hang them on.

One side has a 12" block and the other
side has four 6" blocks.
The book is due to be released soon and will
be available at quilt shops, at shopmartingale.com
and in our store.

When I've posted the last page,
we'll have a drawing for a free book.

AND
since it is finally Spring and warm
weather we have Memorial Day and
July 4th to get ready for.

To help out we've put our American Pride quilt kit
- one of my favorites -
on sale as our Deal of the week - 25% off.
To go to the store to get your click here.

Have a good week ladies and
as always
Keep Quilting:)
