The first post of 2019

And lots of things are happening.

First there is the drawing for
the awesome book by Martingale
on Blockheads 1.

The random number generator picked Joan
who said "I am just relaxing and watching old TV series.
I'm going to sew on some ufo's and other projects".

Joan, if you will call Tammy at 816-632-7632 or email her at
janpatekquiltsinc@gmail.com and give her your
snail mail address, we'll send you your book.
Congratulations.

If you didn't win but want to get your very
own copy of this great book,  you can click here.
As a consolation prize, it's on sale
for 15% off this week only.

The Blockhead 2 Block last week was Dreamy,
an 18" block by Sherri Mc Connell.
You can go to her blog to
download the pattern
by clicking here.

And the Blockheads 2 block this week is
Anchor Point by Lisa Bongean.
You can go to her blog to
download her pattern by clicking here.

These are the blocks I've done so far
for Moda's String Along.

If you want to join the fun and
make your own String Quilt you
can find out how by clicking here.
I'm learning something new and that is
always a great way to start a new year.

Come back Friday to see more about it.

So now lets go see what the other designers
have done with the blocks -

Lynne of Kansas Troubles
Barb & Mary of Me and My Sister
Brigitte Heitland of Zen Chic
Vanessa of Lella Boutique
Betsy Chutchian
Stacy lest Hsu
Laurie Simpson of Minick & Simpson
Sherri McConnell of A Quilting Life
Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings
Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts
Carrie Nelson of Moda's Cutting Table

Jo Morton of Jo's Quilts probably won't be posting
in Blockheads much except when it's her block
 but you might just want
to drop in and see what she's doing.

If so, click here.
