Usually I make a 2nd block and take pictures 

as I go along to do a tutorial.  

This week however, we have had a blizzard 

which has taken up most of my time.  

And ladies the month of Christmas is upon us.

So instead I'm going to refer you to a tutorial I

did on You Tube on Baskets.

The basket itself is a different shape but the principal

is the same.  And dealing with the basket handle,

stems and leaves is exactly the same..

I believe we have already covered circles (berries) and stars

in other blocks.

This is Midnight Serenade - a TableStand (Or Table Top) Quilt.

Each little quilt is really 2 quilts so if it's 

sitting on your table it can be seen from both sides.

I hope everyone got enough to eat over Thanksgiving

I know we did.

Our son Max (Cullen and Quinn's Dad) got Pep's cooking gene

(I've always said that as a cook, I'm a good quilter)

and we went to his house for dinner.

After stuffing ourselves there we moved

on to Brian's house for pie - pumpkin, blueberry, pecan & chocolate.

Then we rolled out to the car and Pep drove us home.  

And it's a good thing he drove because I was comatose.

I don't think I'll eat again until Christmas.
