Freezer Paper Applique Tutorial

I'm sure that most of the people that come to my blog are not new to applique since that's what I do.  I really can't think of a quilt that I've done that doesn't have applique on it.

But when we started doing the tutorials we decided to back up and speak to quilters who hadn't had a chance to learn applique.  So these are our Basics tutorials.  This latest one is on Freezer Paper Applique.

All of my tutorials apply to almost any pattern but we chose two simple ones to illustrate the technique.  For the Freezer Paper Applique tutorial we chose, Lilly's Hearts and Sunflower Daze.

We hope you enjoy it.

  6. Thanks. I really am having fun doing them. It's funny. I never thought I had anything to teach because I thought everyone already knew how to do what I do. But I guess I had some really good teachers early on and then have just figured out how to make other things easy as I've gone along.
I appreciate your comments. Thanks again.
