Block #47 and Spring!!!!

Moda Blockheads
Block #47
Bird & Basket

To download the pattern click here.

I love my cardinals that flock to my
bird feeders each morning and night
but I'm ready to see some bluebirds too.
The bluebird is the state bird of Missouri
and we''ll be really glad to see a some.
They might want to wait just a bit though as the
temperature still says WINTER.

So, for now we'll have to be content
with Spring quilts.

This is my Spring Break BOM pattern and it's
on sale all week for 40% off.
You can buy one by clicking here.

But before we start stitching
lets go see what
the other designers
have done with my block -

Lynne of Kansas Troubles
Barb & Mary of Me and My Sister
Brigitte Heitland of Zen Chic
Vanessa of Lella Boutique
Betsy Chutchian
Stacy lest Hsu
Laurie Simpson of Minick & Simpson
Sherri McConnell of A Quilting Life
Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings
Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts
Carrie Nelson of Moda's Cutting Table

Jo Morton of Jo's Quilts probably won't be posting
in Blockheads much except when it's her block
 but you might just want
to drop in and see what she's doing.

If so, click here.

Have a good week ladies.

  2. I lived half of my life in Missouri and I just love blue birds. They are my favorite bird with their gorgeous blue color and the rosy blush breast. I now live in KS, but in the city so I don't get to see these lovely birds often. I love to go out to the country, which is where I grew up, to see these lovelies. Thank you for your block! I appreciate the time you've invested in our BH2 project. I did BH1 and learned a lot, mostly technique. That has continued, but for BH2 I also tried to concentrate on understanding fabric choices, placement, contrast, colors, and scale. Thanks to the FB group, all of the designers, and Moda, I am proud of my quilt so far!
