Yesterday we had a visit
from a very nice group of ladies,
mostly from Tennessee with one or two
from Georgia and I think there was 1 from Ohio.
I believe their common bond was originally
doing a Sew Along with my book Homespun Hearth.
They called a couple of months ago to
see if they could come by.
We spent 2 or 3 enjoyable hours
chatting and sewing and shopping.
Altogether a great group of ladies.
Thanks again for coming. :)
The page from Tabletop Turnabouts
for today features my little quilt
Down by the Sea.
I just love whales - they are such awesome creatures
and we all need to work together to make sure
they are around for future generations to see.
We have a winner from 2 weeks ago
of the scrap bag and Clover thimble. It is Sheila S
who said "Oh my Gosh - Happy little quilts,
They make me feel happy inside.".
Sheila, please email Tammie your snail
mail address and she will mail you
your fabric and thimble.
Now for this week, make a comment and this time
the prize will be a mixed scrap bag
(all pieces at least 2" wide) of
Sweet Violet and Lilac Ridge
and a magnetic pincushion.
Fabric and something to help sew it with.
Be sure to come back tomorrow to see the next page
of Tabletop Turnabouts by Jan Patek & Martingale.
Keep quilting ladies. :)
Your mini's are sew cute.
ReplyDeleteThat is a big 🐱 kitty on your lap.
We do need to be sure the whales and other things are around for our grandchildren and beyond. I love to see quilters address this issue.
