It's been quite a week here at Quilts.
Tammy was off all last week because her
granddaughter had surgery at Children's Mercy Hospital.
And since she was gone my sewing machine decided
that it was time to quit working.
I ordered a new one but when it got here it wouldn't
work either. (Have I mentioned before that for some
reason mechanical things don't seem to like me?)
Well they don't and Tammy is always the one that
comes to rescue me. She's driving to Kansas City
tonight to meet the lady to return the machine that wouldn't
work and we'll have to order another one.
This is a quilt that I designed for my Girl Gang
Club in 2003. I made it out of brown fabrics.
Now I'm going to make it again only out of
purple fabrics and we'll be doing a QAL. I'll start with
the 9 patches because I can do them by hand = in
case I don't have a machine.
Meantime our kit on sale this week is the
Liberty Eagle Wallhanging - with, of course
fabric substitutions.
