Happy Girl Gang Wednesday

On Thursday this week.    

It never rains but it pours

And boy did it pour. 

In the middle of a heat wave our air conditioner went out.

Jake went to Lowes and bought small  airconditioner,

Jeremy and he vented it (mainly Jeremy according to Jake) and

installed it in the living room.

We brought down 2 large fans from the loft and it's actually

cool in the front of the house.  Kelly says it's cool even back in

her bedroom.

Meanwhile we found out that all of the sheet rock downstairs

was wet and moldy and needs to be torn out.

  Jeremy thinks most of the water is coming in downstairs 

at Pep's storage room and they need to get into it and stop

the leak, except that I don't have a key - Max has one and Jake

has one but I don't.  I did point out that it's my house.

Anyway I will have to finish this gripping drama when

I get back from the beauty parlor.

For now, I will just tell you that the item on sale this week is

the Eagles & Roses BOM.

On Thursday this week.

Today I woke up dreaming that Pep was alive 

so the first few minutes were fine

but then the day fell apart when I realized

that it was just a dream.

I'll be ok soon though because Tammy will

get here and I should get my second book

on dealing with grief by Dr. Hauk in the mail soon.

I got the 1st one and have read it through two or

three times and it really helps.

And while I'm at it, I tell you about the item

on sale this week.

Happy Girl Gang Wednesday

 

Me in the loft with a group of ladies

who came to visit.  

I don't remember who they are or when they came.

One of the things I have learned is that one of the first reactions

that people have after someone dies is shock.  One moment your

loved one is alive and the next -- gone.

Its June so I need to post a new Vintage Book.  

The book I have chosen is "Say It With Flowers" but

I can't remember how to get to a picture.  I think I'm lucky

I can remember how to do this much.  If you'll come back

next week Tammy will have been here to help me remember and 

I'll have a picture of the cover and maybe one of the quilts inside.
