We had our first snow yesterday.

This is the view out of my kitchen window.......

I love to watch the birds early in the

morning while I'm putting the coffee on....

Cardinals, bluejays, juncos, woodpeckers and

many many more.

And

since what I love usually turns 

into a quilt

Our vintage book this month is

Parts 1 and 2.

and one of my favorite quilts in the books is

Zoie's Christmas Kitties

I have a new kitty

Her name is Chantilly

and she's a sweetheart.

She loves to take naps on my bed.

And this is Midnight

Nancy's cat.  And he really is Nancy's cat.

He follows her everywhere. 

The only one I couldn't take a 

picture of is Dueces -Pep's tuxedo cat.

I think he's up in the barn taking care of mice.

He and our 6 ft black snake take great care of the

mice.  I really prefer Dueces but I've never been afraid 

of snakes - non poisonous ones, of course.

But  lets see what the
