snow, trees and woodland creatures (and a kitty)
surrounding a cozy home!
Inside that cozy home is where I spend most of
my winter....stitching, of course!  :-)"

To get there click here.

And be sure to come back tomorrow for

I was a little late today because that
Kansas City Chiefs game yesterday exhausted
me and I overslept.  - But WE WON!

Moda Blog Hop, Day 4

OK - this is going to be a little different.

The designer for today is ME
and
to get to the pattern for my block,

But I didn't just make an 18" block,
I turned it into a pillow
and I didn't just use the Sweet Violet fabric
but instead
used a combination of Sweet Violet
and Sarah's Secret.

Here it is sitting in my chair in the living room.

To make the pillow, follow the directions
for the pillow top given in the link.

But then you need to turn the 18" top into a pillow
for the instructions on how to do that click here.

To enter my drawing for the pillow kit, make a comment,
any old comment and I'll have the
random number generator pick a number
and announce the pattern winner tomorrow -
(I know this gets repetitive but I can't think of
a different way to say it and I really need to
say it each day).

The winner of the BOM pattern is
IowaTall Girl who said

I really like purple but haven't used the color too much in my quilts.
Maybe winning would inspire me to do so!

I hope you like it :)
Even if I do say so myself, the quilt looks awesome on a bed.
Happy quilting

Moda Blog Hop - Day #1

At Spring Market in
Kansas City, I had quilts
and patterns from my Fall line
Sweet Violet and Betsy Chutchian's
Spring Line Sarah's Story.

Tulgey Wood Farms

On the 26th I'll post a picture and
pattern of a pillow that
I designed using both lines.
That day I'll have a drawing for a Pillow Kit.

To fill in the other days I'll post a picture
of a quilt and have a drawing to give away a pattern
of the quilt I designed using either
Sweet Violet or Sarah's Story
I'll also give you a link to the work of
other Moda designers who might be having
a give away too.

To enter my drawing each day, make a comment,
any old comment and I'll have the
random number generator pick a number each day
and announce the pattern winner the next day.
If you already have a pattern for that quilt, just email
Tammy and we'll let you chose any single pattern from the store.
Good luck ladies.

My Oh My -- It's been a Day

I ended up in the hospital
for a short second
but am home and fine now.
I'll tell you more about it later
but meantime

wanted to show you the quilt Mary and Connie
were talking about on Chicken Scratch.

This is my 25th Wedding Anniversary Quilt.
They used this pattern to make a quilt for
Connie and Roy Tesene's 30th anniversary.

It's in my book Together Again.
If you want to make one of your very own
(whether it's your anniversary or not)
you can click here to get the pattern.

Have a good day ladies.
